What's New:
Very little changes in Plastic Surgery have been made over the years. A lot of
times new technology or new procedures result in headaches for
both the patient and the surgeon. On the other hand, it is important
to evaluate each new technology with a critical eye and adopt what
really works. Our practice has adopted over the last few years some
procedures that clearly benefit our patients. We will continue to
evaluate and share with you our experiences and thoughts about what
works and what doesn't.
Vaser Liposelection
A third generation ultrasonic device. After 4 years of extensive
use for body contouring, the Vaser technology has proved to be
a reliabe and safe alternative to traditional liposuction.
Lipoabdominoplasty
(Also known as liposuction with mini tummy tuck.) Although perfoming a formal
tummy tuck with liposuction of the abdomen could cause problems
with skin circulation, a safe blend beween the two procedures is
producing great results.
Mini Facelift
Mini facelifts are popular in the media these days. What is the
difference between the procedures, who is a good candidate, what
do we offer and what kind of results should you expect?
Adjustable
Breast Implants
They have been around for a few years and allow for change in size
after they are implanted. We have had excellent results in certain
patients seen for breast augmentation as well as in breast reconstruction
patients.
Mini Brow Lift
An outpatient procedure done in the office restores the position of the brow. Combined with a liquid browlift (Botox) the procedure restores a more youthful looking brow.
