About Dr. Stephanides

Dr. Stephanides earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California.  He continued his training in general surgery and plastic surgery at Stanford.  In 1997 he joined the faculty in the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University Medical Center where he maintained a busy clinical practice and trained other plastic surgeons.  In January of 2001, Dr. Stephanides joined The Orcutt Group practice in Nashville.  After 8 years with the group, Dr. Stephanides started his solo practice at our new location.

His practice currently concentrates on facial surgery, breast surgery, liposuction and body contouring procedures.  Achieving good aesthetic, natural looking results is a high priority and patient satisfaction is of the utmost importance.  A large number of patients from around the world have followed Dr. Stephanides to Nashville for their surgeries.

He is interested in the application of cutting edge technology to improve plastic surgery outcomes. Careful and objective evaluation of new technology is very important, and safety plays a major role in the decision making process before anything new is adopted.

When not operating he enjoys all water sports (scuba diving, diving, and waterskiing).  He has played tennis since age 4, and enjoys hiking, climbing, running and music and spending time with his family.
